Our Dentists

Dr. Sundeep Patel

General Dentist

Dr. Sundeep Patel graduated from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dentistry in 1998. He graduated on the Dean’s Honour List as well as serving as Senior Stick of the Faculty of Dentistry in his graduating year. Since graduation, Dr. Patel has also been involved with teaching at the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic at the University of Manitoba where he enjoys sharing his experiences and talents with the dental students. Dr. Patel graduated from Vincent Massey Collegiate in 1991 where he graduated with honours and was voted “most likely to succeed” by his graduating class.

Dr. Patel has lectured at conferences and has participated in numerous continuing education courses both at home and internationally. Dr. Patel enjoys treating patients of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. Dr. Patel has served as President of the Gujarati Cultural Society of Manitoba and is also fluent in Gujarati. Dr. Patel has also served as a member of the Communications Committee at the Manitoba Dental Association. Dr. Patel is currently an active mentor with the Career Mentor Program at the University of Manitoba.

In his spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending family time with his wife and their two boys. His hobbies include playing hockey, playing tennis, listening to his favourite band U2, and traveling to new places. Dr. Patel has been at Cor-Dent Dental Centre since 1999.
Dr. Diala Chaaban

General Dentist

Dr. Chaaban received her D.M.D degree from the University of Manitoba. Upon graduation, Dr. Chaaban taught at the University of Manitoba faculty of dentistry for one year while working in private practice. Dr. Chaabanis committed to continuing education and has a special interest in implant dentistry and oral surgery. She is certified for the use of Nitrous Oxide sedation.

She enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She is fluent in English, French, and Arabic. After work, Dr. Chaaban likes to spend time with her family, baking, cooking, and exercising. Her hobbies are tennis and biking.
Dr. Walter Herrador

General Dentist

Dr. Walter Herrador has been a dedicated general dentist in Canada since 2004. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2004. After gaining valuable experience practicing in various provinces, Dr. Herrador chose to establish his practice in Winnipeg, which he now proudly calls home. Dr. Herrador is committed to continuous learning and has pursued advanced education in several specialized areas of dentistry. Dr Herrador has extensive experience in implant placement, restoration, and bone grafting techniques, honed through advanced studies at the Pacific Implant Institute, the University of British Columbia (IDEAS program), and McGill University.

Additionally, he has undertaken further training at UCLA’s Faculty of Dentistry, focusing on treating sleep apnea and bruxism using oral appliances and neuromodulators. Dr. Herrador’s passion for dentistry lies in both the restorative and surgical aspects, allowing him to provide comprehensive care tailored to his patients' needs.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Herrador enjoys a well-rounded life. He spends his free time reading, exercising, cooking, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
